The Pirates have invited all five of their MLB Pipeline Top 100 prospects to Major League camp, along with eight others.
Pitchers Paul Skenes, Jared Jones, Anthony Solometo, and Bubba Chandler will join infielder Termarr Johnson with the Bucs. Other non-roster invitees are pitchers Thomas Harrington and Sean Sullivan, catchers Carter Bins and Abrahan Gutierrez, and infielders Andres Alvarez and Jack Branigan, along with infielder/outfielder Joe Perez and outfielder Matt Gorski.
Veteran non-roster invitees include pitchers Michael Plassmeyer, Ben Heller, and Hunter Stratton, infielder/outfielder Jake Lamb, outfielder/first baseman Billy McKinney, infielder Sergio Alcantara, and outfielder Gilberto Celestino.

Rangers shortstop Corey Seager underwent surgery for a sports hernia yesterday and will miss most of spring training. He hit .327 with 33 home runs and 96 RBI last season.
The Blue Jays have signed third baseman/designated hitter Justin Turner to a one-year contract. He’s the former Dodgers star who played last season for the Red Sox.
