Pennsylvania’s flu infection rate continues to slow down. There were 7,641 new cases in the latest weekly flu report, down from 8,714 new cases the week before.
Flu deaths rose by 17, to 120 across the state.
Indiana County registered a fourth consecutive week of declining rates. There were 24 new cases reported, bringing the county’s total this season to 388. Indiana County had 27 new cases the week before, 34 the week before that, and 94 the week before that, which was the peak of the season.
The county’s new RSV cases were up slightly. After rising by 11 the week before, they were up 15 last week, to 123.
