Two straight ACC wins for Pitt, which rolled Georgia Tech, 72-64 last night in Atlanta.
Bub Carrington led the way for Pitt with 19 points and helped hold Yellow Jackets leading scorer Miles Kelly scoreless on the night. Kelly was so badly harassed by the Panthers, he managed only two shots all night and played just 17 minutes. Georgia Tech rallied from a four-point halftime deficit to take a six-point lead, but Pitt went on a 9-0 run to retake the lead and never gave it back.
Pitt is 12-7, 3-5 in the ACC, and will play at Miami on Saturday.
