State police have released some details about a crash that happened Friday night in Rayne Township.
Police say the crash was reported at 2:09 PM on Saturday on Chambersville Hill Road, about 1500 feet from Chambersville road. A pickup truck was going west on Chambersville road when it slid off the road and about 40 feet on the north side of the road and down a hill. The truck took on minor damage to the grill, bumper and hood. The unidentified driver was not hurt in the accident. The car had to be towed from the hillside.
Police say speed was a main factor in the accident.
