Pitt coach Jeff Capel said his Panthers were “road tough…Pittsburgh tough” in an 80-76 upset win over Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium yesterday.
Blake Hinson was 7-for-7 on three-pointers and scored 24 points. Freshman point guard Jaland Lowe scored 17 points with six assists and no turnovers.
Pitt beak a Blue Devils team which beat them, 75-53 on January 9th.
Pitt is 11-7, and 2-5 in the ACC. They will play at Georgia Tech on Tuesday.
