U.S. News & World Report released its Best Elementary Schools rankings for 2024 and several schools from Indiana County were featured.
In the overall list, East Pike Elementary School in Indiana was No. 121 in the state. Officials cited the school’s success in reading and mathematics, saying students performed “Well Above Expectations” in both categories. According to the report, 10 percent of students at East Pike scored at or above a proficient mark.
Horace Mann Elementary School came in at No. 204, followed by Saltsburg Elementary School at 255. Both schools were also credited for their success in reading and mathematics.
