Homer-Center put together a strong second half and downed Penns Manor, 63-50. Owen Saiani scored 17 to lead the Wildcats and Angelo Alexander added 12. The Comets were led by Carter Smith’s 15 and Alex Polenik’s 14.
United topped Cambria Heights, 69-41
Conemaugh Valley outscored Portage by three in the third quarter, and after an even fourth, the Blue Jays topped the Mustangs, 73-71. Jeremy Dietz scored 19 to lead CV and Landon Percinsky had 18. For Portage, Bode Layo had 20, Owen Gouse 19, and Trae Kargo 15.
Undefeated Conemaugh Township bested Northern Cambria, 57-32. Brennan Lohr had five threes and scored 17 to lead the way for the Indians. Ty Dumm led the Colts with 15.
WRESTLING
United pinned River Valley, 48-18. Winners for the Lions included Sierra Oleska, Gideon Bracken, Colton Henning by forfeit; Chloe Stiles, Josef Garshnik, Michael Monty by fall; and Jake Sombromski, Caden McCully, Dylan Stephens, and Zack Travis by decision. Winners for the Panthers were Kaden Barnhart, Chase Stuchal, and Michael Wano all by fall.
RIFLE
Indiana lost to Penn Trafford in a close match, 788-44x to 779-32x. Top shooter for Indiana was Gavin Dicken with a 100-6x.
