BOYS BASKETBALL
Stanford Webb had a career night, dropping in seven three-pointers and scoring 31 points to lead Indiana to a 57-49 win over Southmoreland. Ty Keffer had four three-pointers and scored 16 for Southmoreland.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Homer-Center and United teamed up to raise money for the “Sideline Cancer” crusade and played a Heritage Conference girls game last night. The Lions broke open a tight game in the second half to come away with the win. Todd Marino has the recap.
Marion Center clobbered Conemaugh Valley, 56-22. Macie Miller had 13 points, Lydia Miller 12, and Mya Lipsie 11 for the Stingers.
Penns Manor walloped Northern Cambria, 72-23. Alyssa Altemus led the way with 18 points, Sarah Stiteler had 17, and Summer Fennell 13 for the Comets.
Ava Persichetti scored 24 points as River Valley beat Cambria Heights, 42-42. Sienna Kirsch scored 19 for the Highlanders.
Purchase Line topped Conemaugh Township, 49-32 behind 13 points by Anna Layden and 12 by Brooklyn Syster.
Lance Hudak recorded career win number 300 as Portage downed West Shamokin, 62-26. Ashlyn Hudak scored 15 points on 5-for-5 shooting beyond the three-point line. Jenna Burkett chipped in 12 points for the Mustangs.
WRESTLING
Indiana High lost to powerful Burrell, 52- 19. Indiana’s winners included Nico Fanella, Carter Putt, Will Turner and Jackson Higgins.

A couple of Heritage Conference boys games highlight tonight’s action. Purchase Line visits Marion Center on 92.5 FM U92 and River Valley will host West Shamokin on Cat Country, 106.3 FM. Both games will be on the air at around 7:15.
