Indiana County first responders were called out for three incidents on Thursday.
The first incident was a vehicle accident at 11:04 AM on Thursday. The crash was on Route 259 in West Wheatfield Township, and brought out the Clyde and Armagh fire departments, state police and Citizens’ Ambulance. Details on the accident have not been released yet.
Black Lick and Blairsville fire departments were called out for a report of utility lines down on McConnell Road in Black Lick Township. Altman fire department also responded to the scene at 3:20 PM yesterday.
And a structure fire was reported by Indiana County 911 on North 4th Street in Indiana Borough at 5:33 PM. Indiana fire and police departments, Citizens’ and the County HAZMAT team were called out at the time. Indiana Fire Association officials confirmed that the fire was in fact a grease fire on the stovetop that was put out quickly with no damage or injuries reported.
