PA Football News released its Coaches-Select All-State teams for 2023 and several Heritage Conference players cracked the 1A roster.
Northern Cambria’s Dawson Shutty and Ty Dumm both earned first-team honors, while Penns Manor’s Amin Lieb earned second-team honors. All were selected for defense.
Shutty made 101 tackles, including 54 solo and 24.5 tackles for a loss. Additionally, he collected 3.5 sacks as defensive tackle.
Dumm led the Colts with five interceptions from the safety position. He averaged 7.8 tackles per game and finished with 94 total stops.
Lieb was Penns Manor’s leading tackler with 118 total stops on the season, 74 were solo. He averaged 9.8 tackles per game and had two interceptions.
