Homer-Center grad Molly Kosmack continues to dominate in her freshman season at Mount Aloysius. Kosmack is this week’s Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Player of the Week after averaging 19.5 points in two games, shooting an amazing 18-of-21 from the field and adding 11 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game. She was 9-for-11 with 18 points against Oberlin and followed that up with a 21-point effort against Carnegie Melon, in which she shot 9 out of 10 from the field with 13 rebounds.
Kosmack was named to the Jim Meagle Holiday Classic All-Tournament team at Marietta College in Ohio. She is averaging a double-double in her freshman season, leading Mount Aloysius with 17.2 points and 12.3 rebounds per game.
