Drew O’Connor, Evgeni Malkin, Jeff Carter, and Sidney Crosby all scored goals as the Penguins outskated the St. Louis Blues 4-2 Saturday night. Tristan Jarry made 25 saves as he recorded his second straight win.
The Penguins never trailed in the game as they exchanged goals with the Blues over the first two periods before Carter’s redirect of a Jansen Harkins pass at the top of the crease eluded Blues goaltender Jake Hofer at 4:48 of the third. Crosby added an empty-netter at 18:29 of the period, sealing the win with his 20th goal.
The Pens welcome the revenge-minded New York Islanders to PPG Paints Arena tonight, facing off at 6 o’clock on 92.5 FM U92. Pregame airs at 5. The Penguins beat the Islanders 7-0 on Wednesday night.
