The Pitt Panthers and IUP basketball teams are gearing up for their first games off the holiday break tomorrow.
Pitt heads to Syracuse to take on the 9-3 Orange in an ACC bout. Pitt has won three straight over Syracuse, and they’ve claimed five of their last six meetings. Tip-off for tomorrow’s game is at noon on WCCS.
Meanwhile, IUP hits the road for a PSAC doubleheader against East Stroudsburg. Neither team has played since sweeping Bloomsburg at the KCAC on December 19.The men will be without Dallas Dilliard after he suffered a lower leg injury against Bloomsburg and was ruled out for the rest of the season. Meanwhile, Garvin Clarke is dealing with off-court issues and that could impact his playing time moving forward.
On a positive note, newly-activated Bryce Radford is expected to start tomorrow.
The women take the court at 1 p.m. and the men follow at 3. You’ll hear both games starting at 12:45 on U92.5 FM and U92radio.com.
