A federal grand jury in Pittsburgh has indicted a Cambria County woman on charges of drug trafficking.
According to a news release from US Attorney Eric Olshan, 55-year-old Penny Woodley of Hastings was charged with possession with the intent to distribute over 50 grams of methamphetamine on May 10th and 20th and August 24th. The federal Drug Enforcement Administration lead a multi-agency investigation into Woodley, and it included state police, the office of the PA Attorney General, IRS, Pittsburgh Police and Homeland Security Investigations. Details on the specific incidents where she allegedly distributed drugs were not released.
If Woodley is found guilty, she faces imprisonment between 10 years and life, a fine of not more than $10 million or both.
