PennDOT has announced an extension for the public plans display for a bridge reservation project in Canoe Township.
Officials said in a news release that the Broadhead Run Bridge plans display will be available for review until January 5, 2024, rather than the original date of December 29. They did not give a reason for the extension.
The project will be along the Broadhead Run Bridge and spans 3.5 miles east of Route 119 and 7.5 miles south of Route 36. Construction of the project is scheduled to begin in the spring or summer of 2025, and an online presentation of the project has been posted on PennDOT District 10’s website. It features the proposed plans and timeline for the project.
