The busy week for area firefighters continued on Tuesday with four calls reported to Indiana County 911.
Indiana Fire Association members and state police were summoned to Route 286 East in White Township around 4:51 PM to clean up debris on the roadway. At 6:05, Aultman, Blairsville, and Black Lick firefighters responded to an automatic fire alarm activation along Route 286 West in Black Lick Township.
Two structure fires were reported later in the evening. At 6:49 PM, Plumville, Marion Center, Clymer, Dayton, and Rural Valley firefighters, Team 900, and Citizens’ Ambulance were dispatched to Dollar General along Main Street in Plumville Borough.
Then, Aultman, Coral-Graceton, and Homer City firefighters, Team 900, and Citizens’ Ambulance were dispatched to Dasey Lane in Center Township around 7:06 PM.
No details are available on either call.
