Indiana High grad Katie Kovalchick has been named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Week after scoring in double figures for Washington & Jefferson twice last week. She scored ten points against Thiel and followed that up with thirteen on Saturday against Geneva. Kovalchick was hot from the field, shooting 10-of-15 from the post.
She’s averaging 4.9 points per game in eight appearances this season.
