The Pitt Panthers return to action tonight taking on their final nonconference opponent of the season, Purdue Fort Wayne.
At 8-3, Pitt is off to a solid start, but coach Jeff Capel is wary of the 11-1 Mastodons, who he says play like a lot of his future ACC opponents…four guards and a big man.
After tonight, the Panthers’ players will scatter to their homes, returning to the Pitt campus on Tuesday, with ACC games on the schedule the rest of the way, starting December 30th at Syracuse.
