It’s been a busy morning for first responders with a flue fire and a vehicle crash reported by Indiana County 911.
Three fire companies have been dispatched to a flue fire in Strongstown this morning. Indiana County 911 first put the call out at 8:30 this morning for crews from the Pine Township and Cherryhill Township volunteer fire departments for the fire at a home along Route 403 north in Pine Township. About 15 minutes later, Clymer Volunteer Department was dispatched to the scene to assist.
Initial scanner reports show that the people living in the home were able to get out safely. No word yet on the extent of the damage or if anyone was hurt.
The other incident was a vehicle crash at the intersection of Ambrose Road and Morrow Road in Washington Township at 10:30 this morning. Initial scanner reports say that two vehicles were involved. One person was reportedly injured in the crash. Plumville firefighters were dispatched at the time along with state police and Citizens’ Ambulance.
