Indiana County’s Chamber of Commerce has received their accreditation from the Pennsylvania Association of Chamber Professionals.
The program sets standards for excellence among chambers of commerce in Pennsylvania, putting in place a standard of organizational competency and an objective set of criteria for assessment. The achievement of those standards is determined by an examining committee. The program follows the U.S. Chamber model. The Indiana County Chamber of Commerce is only the second chamber in Pennsylvania to receive this award.
In a statement, Chamber President Mark Hilliard said that the accreditation is the result of a lot of hard work and that it validates the work that’s been put in over the years.
