The Pens have placed forward Vinnie Hinostroza on waivers Friday afternoon. Should he go unclaimed and clear waivers by 2:00 this afternoon, he can be assigned to the Wilkes Barre/Scranton farm team. In 13 games he has one goal and two assists. This comes as Rickard Rakell appears close to coming back into the lineup from injury.
The Pens play the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight at 7:00. Pre-game starts at 6:00 on U-92.5 FM.
