UPDATE: Daniel Lowman entered pleas to one count of DUI and two counts of child endangerment. Judge Michael Clark ordered him to serve two days to six months in Indiana County Jail on the DUI charge, and two years of probation for the endangerment charge.
WHAT WE FIRST REPORTED
Plea and sentencing hearings are scheduled for today in Indiana County Court of Common Pleas, including the hearing for a man charged in connection with a crash near Blairsville in April of this year.
Court documents show that 46-year-old Daniel Lowman of Blairsville is due in court this morning at 8:30. He faces two counts each of DUI, Child Endangerment and Reckless endangerment for the crash on April 9th. Blairsville police said that Lowman was driving East on Route 22 and was taking the Route 217 exit to North Walnut Street when he lost control of his vehicle and rolled it over. He drove away from the scene but was found later by Blairsville Fire and EMS personnel on Falling Run Road. Two children in the vehicle at the time of the crash were treated on-scene.
