CLYMER POLICE
Clymer Borough Police are investigating a hit and run that happened sometime Monday night or Tuesday morning. Police say that between 8 PM on December 11th and 8 AM on the 12th, a vehicle hit a pole that had a pedestrian signal button attached at the intersection of Franklin and Sixth Streets and fled without making a report. The pole was severed at the base. Evidence showed the vehicle turned at the 500 block of Franklin Street onto 6th Street, hit the pole, then continued to sixth street. Police in Clymer are looking for someone who vandalized several Christmas decorations on Monday night. Police say that between 10:51 and 10:54 PM, someone went onto the property in the 200 block of Hancock Street and spray-painted the sidewalk to the residence and spray-painted several Christmas decorations in the front yard. The suspect was described by police at about 5 feet tall, wearing glasses, a hooded sweatshirt, and pants. He was seen on camera running west away from the home.
