Several law enforcement agencies are investigating a bank robbery that happened Wednesday afternoon in Homer City.
Homer City Borough Police Chief Anthony Jellison confirmed that the initial call came in around 12:20 p.m. reporting a robbery at the S&T Bank along North Main Street, and state police Public Information Officer Cliff Greenfield reported the suspect, or suspects, fled the scene shortly after in a vehicle. He adds surveillance photos will be available soon.
Due to manpower issues, state troopers have taken over the investigation. Both agencies are being assisted by the Indiana County Sheriff’s office.
The investigation is on-going. More updates will be posted to this story at our Facebook page.
