Eleanor K. (Kuntz) Pryce, 103 of Blairsville, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at her home with family at her side. The daughter of J. Fred and Grace M.(Roadman) Kuntz, she was born on July 13, 1920 in Derry, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn H. Pryce, of 52 years.
She taught elementary music for many years and was also a church organist. Following her retirement from teaching, she joined the family to work at Precision Wire Products, Inc. Eleanor was a long time member of Derry Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing the piano, reading, knitting, quilting and playing cards with friends, as well as spending time with family at the farm.
Surviving are her three children: James Pryce & wife Susie of Tipp City, OH, Bryan and Laurie Pryce of Blairsville, PA; grandchildren: Austin, Noah (Jen) and Sayres (Chloe) Pryce, Gina (Kevin) Hageman, Nicholas (Morgan) Tummino, Christopher (Pam) Bochenek, Andrew (Carrie) Bochenek, David (Jen) Bochenek and Kimberly (Jason); many great grandchildren & Luke her four footed friend who never left her side.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter-in-law, Dawn Rae Pryce and siblings: Betty Jane (MacKinnon) Kuntz, John Frederick Kuntz and Robert Cameron Kuntz.
Per Eleanor’s wishes, all services and interment will be private. Interment will be held in the Coles Cemetery, Derry, Pennsylvania.
