Indiana Borough Police have charged a Northern Cambria man with DUI after an incident in mid-November.
Police say that officers conducted a traffic stop on November 18th at 2:45 AM in the 300 block of Philadelphia Street for a summary traffic offense. Further investigation showed that the driver, 57-year-old Chad Wiewiora was under the influence of alcohol to a degree that he was a danger to himself and others. He was taken into custody and later released to a sober person.
The criminal complaint was recently filed with District Judge Guy Haberl’s office.
