At their meeting Wednesday afternoon, the White Township Supervisors approved two bids for slip lining projects within the township.
Township Manager Chris Anderson said the White Township Municipal Authority approved two bids from Guyer Brothers, Inc., for slip lining maintenance, one is for a storm sewer in the White’s Woods/Monticello area in the amount of $61,000, while the other is for a portion of Indian Springs Road in the amount of $84,000. Anderson said the supervisors needed to approve them to get the projects started, and he explained their purpose.
In other business, Supervisors approved submitting a pre-grant application for the Wayne Avenue/Indian Springs Road intersection. This would go towards improving infrastructure, such as traffic signal hangers and boxes, the Hoodlebug Trail crossing, and other areas that need upgraded. Recipients of the grant funds will be announced towards the summer.
Anderson also said applications are still being accepted for a vacant auditor position. Those interested are asked to submit an application as soon as possible. Information can be found at whitetownship.org.
