Tuesday night, Indiana Borough Council approved the 2024 budget.
Borough manager Nicole Sipos said that there were no tax increases in the budget, keeping property taxes at 6.522 mills. Sipos said there were some minor changes.
In other business, council appointed Jonathan Smith to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Gerald Smith. Jonathan talked about what he looks forward to being a part of borough council.
He will take his oath of office at a future meeting.
