Anderson Clemons, 87, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at his residence.
The son of Fred and Ella Clemons Sr., he was born July 12, 1936 in Ernest.
Anderson had been employed many years for Penelec. He was a veteran, having served in the Army.
Anyone that knew Andy knew that he had a fun-loving competitive nature. He spent a lot of his time fishing, bowling, golfing and hunting. He won several awards in his bowling league including a few perfect games. He was also known for his love of cooking. Andy could always be found behind the grill at family functions.
Surviving are his children, Anderson C. Clemons, Hilo, HI, Randel C. Clemons, Visalia, CA, Nicole Giermanski, Alverda, and Andrew Clemons, Indiana; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Sonya Clemons, Indiana; brothers, Gerald (Bertie) Clemons, George (Lugene) Clemons, John (Lillian) Clemons.
Preceding Anderson in death were his parents; brothers, Carl, Fred Jr., Lloyd, Robert; and sisters, Eleanor Embry, Shirley Clemons, and Juanita Jones.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 12 to 2 p.m. at the John A Lefdahl Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Elder Stan Webb, officiating.
