The Pitt Panthers beat Oregon State in the NIT tip-off tourney 76-51 to take third in the tourney. Zach Austin led the Panther attack with 19 points, followed by Blake Hinson with 17.
The Panthers defense stifled the Beavers, limiting them to 17 of 52 from the field and 2 of 21 from three-point range.
Next up is a game next Tuesday night against Missouri.
