The 4-1 Pitt Panthers are back on the court this afternoon for the third-place game in the NIT Pre-Season Tip-off. They’ll play 3-2 Oregon State. Pitt lost to Florida, 86-71 on Wednesday and the Beavers were beaten by Baylor, 88-72.
Pitt and Oregon State have played only three times in the past and the Beavers have won all three, twice in 1950 and once in 1981.
Airtime today is 2:30 on WCCS, with tipoff scheduled shortly after 3.
