On Monday, the Marion Center School Board was told by business manager Richard Martini that budget discussions will begin soon.
Next month, Martini will present to the school board a resolution that will limit any tax increases to go no higher than the state-mandated Act 1 limits. As far as how the budget may look, he said it was still too early to tell how the district will fare.
In other business, the board congratulated the women’s Cross Country team for their third straight District 6 Champions.
