While the holiday season is underway, State Police are reminding people to celebrate responsibly as Thanksgiving approaches.
In anticipation of increased traffic for the Thanksgiving holiday, and in their ongoing effort to keep everyone safe, state police will increase their patrols starting Wednesday, November 22nd through Sunday the 26th. Members of Troop A of the state police will be on the lookout for aggressive, distracted and intoxicated drivers on area roads and highways.
They remind you to buckle up, drive safely, and if your holiday plans include drinking, designate a sober driver. They also encourage you to report any suspicious activity to police.
