PA UNEMPLOYMENT REMAINS BELOW NATIONAL AVERAGE

For the third month in a row, Pennsylvania’s unemployment rate remains well below the national jobless figure.

State officials say last month’s unemployment rate matched the preceding month’s figure of three-point-four percent.  The national rate rose to three-point-nine percent, up from three point eight in September.  State officials say education and health services employment figures currently stand at record highs.
