Wilkes-Barre Scranton Goalie Alex Nedeljkovic scored a goal last night in the farm league team’s 4-2 road win against the Providence Bruins.
The Ron Hextall-type goal was recorded at the 18:56 mark of the third period, after Providence pulled their goalie in favor of an extra attacker. Nedeljkovic becomes the first goalie in AHL to score two goals. His last was in 2018 as a member of the Charlotte Checkers. He is currently with Wilkes-Barre Scranton on a conditioning assignment.
Meanwhile, the Penguins take on the Carolina Hurricanes tonight at 6:00 on the New U-92.5 FM and U92Radio.com
