The United Way has announced that next year at this time, an art project involving balloons will come to Indiana.
The Big Balloon Build will come to Indiana County for the holidays next year and will create an immersive art installation made from balloons of different types and shapes. Denise Chresos with Flower and Balloon Gallery was inspired to help bring the group to Indiana after taking part in one.
75 artists from all over the world will come to S&T Bank arena and work for three-and-a-half days. Big Balloon Build director Stuart Davies said that each project is unique and for Indiana, he wants to combine the worlds of two of Western Pennsylvania’s best known personalities.
The money raised from the project will go towards the United Way’s 2024 campaign.
