Patricia Lynn “Pat” Ganley, 69, of Indiana, formerly of Washington DC, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born in Indiana, on May 2, 1954 to the late Richard John and Betty Lou (Ruddock) Ganley, Pat was a 1972 graduate of Indiana High School and a 1976 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Westminster College. She spent her working career in Washington D.C. as a legal secretary for several law firms.
Pat enjoyed reading, making jewelry, watching classic movies but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Chevy Chase, Maryland, as well as their Altar Guild.
Surviving Pat are her siblings, sister LuAnn G. Eckman of Indiana; brother Robert D. Ganley of Indiana; sister Janet (Richard) Apjok of Indiana; sister Lori (Scott) Baker of Middletown, Maryland; and Wesley Litzinger of Laguna Beach, California; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her guardians Lloyd E. and Mary Lois (Ruddock) Litzinger, a brother John Richard Ganley as well as a brother-in-law Kenneth I. Eckman.
Friends will be received by the family at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM where a service will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Kathy Mihoerck officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
