The Indiana School Board is scheduled to meet tonight and, on the agenda, will be funding for some sports and approval of a new industry-recognized credential.
The new credential up for approval will be for Teen Mental Health First Aid. The recommendation is coming out of the academic and extra-curricular activity committee and would authorize the district’s superintendent to create the credential.
The board will also look to approve funding for Boys and Girls Lacrosse, Rugby and Hockey. The amounts have not yet been set, but the recommendation is coming from the Audit and Finance Committee.
The meeting starts at 7:00 tonight at the district board room and will also be streamed online at the district’s website, IASD.cc.
