State police have charged the driver of a tractor trailer truck in connection with a collision with a train that happened earlier this week.
Troopers say the crash happened on Tuesday on Route 422 just west of Miller Drive as a truck driven by 38-year-old Saad Gele of Columbus, Ohio was driving east when he collided with a train, hitting a box car in the process. The truck came to rest in the Eastbound lane. Police say that the railroad crossing signals were functioning at the time. They have cited Gele with speeding.

No one was hurt in a crash on Route 286 in Green Township on Tuesday afternoon.
State police say that 40-year-old Donald Hopkins of Commodore said he fell asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle when it drifted into oncoming traffic and sideswiped a car driven by 29-year-old Abby Schmitt of Indiana. Hopkins tried to get back in control of the car, but over-corrected and rolled over once before coming to a stop.
Police noticed the smell of alcohol coming from Hopkins and administered field sobriety tests, which yielded signs of impairment. He was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence. Both vehicles had to be towed. No injuries were reported.
