Many communities celebrated Halloween over the weekend, and there will be more celebrations tonight.
For Homer City and Center Township residents, a Halloween parade will be held at 5:30 tonight, following the traditional route in Homer City. Trick or Treating will follow from 6-8 PM. Smicksburg Borough, Shelocta Borough, Indiana Borough and White Township will also have trick-or-treating tonight from 6-8 PM.
Those handing out candy tonight are asked to keep their porch lights on to let participants know they can go to those houses. Trick-or-treaters are advised to keep a flashlight with them, and to also wear reflective strips on their costumes to make themselves visible to drivers. Drivers are also asked to take some extra care if they are driving during trick or treat times.
Parents may also want to make sure their children are bundled up as the temperatures will be very cold tonight. Stay with us throughout the day for the latest Accuweather forecast.
