TRICK OR TREATING TO BE HELD TODAY, TOMORROW

Halloween will be celebrated in many Indiana County communities this weekend.

Today, the Downtown Indiana business district will hold trick or treating from 10 AM to Noon. People are advised to head to Romeo’s to start to receive a list of participating businesses, which can be found below.

Other communities holding trick-or-treat today include Blairsville Borough from 1-5 PM and Brush Valley Township from 4-6 PM, with the Brush Valley Fire Department holding their Fright Night event at the same time. Creekside Borough will have a Halloween Parade today at 1:00 PM, with Trick or Treating to follow until 3:00. Young Township will also hold trick or treating tonight from 4-6. Ernest Borough’s trick-or-treat time will be from 5-7.

For tomorrow, Clymer will have a parade at 1:30, with door to door and a trunk-or-treat event to follow until 4:00 PM. Burrell Township will hold a parade at 1:00, with trick or treating to follow until 5:00. Cherryhill Township’s trick or trunk event will be held from 1-2 at Penn Run Fire Hall. West Wheatfield Township’s will be from 3-5. Heilwood’s will be from 4-6. East Wheatfield Township’s trick or treat will be from 5-8.

Those taking part in door-to-door trick or treating are reminded to stay safe and only go to homes that have their porch lights on.
