The Nathanial Price trial is less than a month away on the Indiana County Court schedule, and last week the prosecution and defense made several advance filings. The case is being prosecuted by the state Attorney General’s Office, which last Tuesday submitted its list of potential witnesses and the supplemental questions it may ask of potential jurors. Defense attorney Thomas Dickey did the same.
The 25-year-old Price and co-defendant Justin Stevenson were both charged with the murders of Timothy Gardner and Jacqueline Brink at the couple’s apartment in Cherryhill Township in October of 2016. Stevenson pleaded guilty to two counts of second degree murder and is serving life in prison without the chance of parole. He is appealing and last week his attorney filed a brief in support of his petition for relief from his conviction and sentence.
Both Price’s trial and Stevenson’s appeal are before President Judge Thomas Bianco. Jury selection for Price is scheduled to begin November 6th.
