Today marks the 19th running of the Love of Life 5K in Indiana.
Many runners will hit the streets of Indiana borough, IUP Campus and the Indiana Regional Medical Center for the run/walk to support local breast cancer services at the Women’s imaging Center at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
The Run will follow the traditional racecourse starting at 8th and Philadelphia Street, going south to Indiana Regional Medical Center and Mack Park, and returning through town, hitting the fringe of IUP before winding up back at 8th and Philadelphia Streets. Roads will be closed off to allow a safe run.
Heather Reed with the Indiana Healthcare Foundation said that they wanted to get a record number of runners, and in an interview on Friday on Indiana in the Morning, she said that record was shattered.
The run starts at 9:00 this morning. On-site registration will be held until 8:30 AM.
