All of the goals were scored in the second half as IUP’s women’s soccer team fell to UPJ yesterday, 3-1. IUP’s goal was scored by Maddy Orr.
IUP’s women’s field hockey was stung by one of their own yesterday when graduate transfer student Blaise Cugini scored the game’s only goal just over two minutes in and ninth-ranked Mansfield topped IUP 1-0. Cugini played her undergrad years at IUP, scoring 22 goals in 52 games as a Crimson Hawk. Her goal for Mansfield yesterday was her 8th this season.
