WOMAN TO BE SENTENCED IN MULTIPLE DRUG CASES TODAY

While the majority of the court proceedings today in Indiana County Court will deal with DUI Criminal Call, there will be a plea hearing and sentencing hearings for a woman who faces drug-related crimes.

All four hearings are for Lisa Jean Saxfield, who has addresses in both Marion Center and Cherry Tree listed in court documents.  In one case that she will be sentenced for, she pleaded guilty to a charge of possession with intent to deliver for a case on January 2^nd of 2021.  The second case is for DUI-Controlled Substance for an incident on April 17^th of 2021.  Seven other charges related to the incident were not prosecuted.  And on August 1^st, she was charged with possession of a controlled substance and of drug paraphernalia.

In the case she is scheduled to enter a plea to today, she is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver for an incident on April 12^th of 2021.
