Blairsville Borough Police are investigating a hit-and run crash that happened early this morning in the downtown area.
Police say that officers were dispatched at 12:40 this morning to the accident scene near the Sheetz on East Market Street. Police say that a silver sedan driven by an unknown man rear-ended a vehicle causing minor damage. One of the occupants, Alexis Mellinger of Pleasant Unity said that the driver did talk with them but fled the scene when she told him she was calling police. No injuries were reported.
Video security footage is currently being reviewed. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call police at 724-459-7555.
