A traffic stop turned into a drug bust last Saturday night. State police said that at 11:01 PM on October 7th, police pulled over a vehicle at the intersection of Oakland and Fisher Avenues for a summary vehicle code violation. A passenger in the car, identified as a 20-year-old Pittsburgh man, was found to be in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
One person was taken to the hospital after a rollover crash that happened last Friday afternoon in Brush Valley Township. State police say that at 3:39 PM, a car went off Route 56 near Longs Road. The car went onto the North embankment and rolled down it. The driver’s identity was not released. Brush Valley Fire Department assisted at the scene.
