WOMEN’S SOCCER
Julia Csernyik’s third goal of the season in the 36th minute gave IUP women’s soccer a 1-1 tie with Clarion. Csernyik’s goal inside the left post came from 30 yards out.
SWIMMING & DIVING
It was a sweep for IUP swimming and diving in a dual meet at Shippensburg yesterday. The women won, 135-69 and the men took their meet, 121.5-71.5.
IUP won 15 out of 22 events with four swimmers winning multiple events. Freshman Tina Cudina won the 50 free and 100 free and was part of the winning 200-medley relay team. Sophomore Avital Flaishman was first in the 200 free and 500 free.
For the men, Athanasios Diamantidis and Luke Mikesell combined for four individual wins. Diamantidis won the 200 breaststroke and 100 IM. Mikesell won the 200 free and 500 free.
