Indiana county first responders had a busy day on Tuesday, including a search effort in Conemaugh Township.
Indiana County 911 dispatched State Police, Lifestat EMS and Tunnelton Fire Department at 10:40 PM to a location along Saltsburg Road for the search effort. At 11:03 PM, the county’s Hazmat team, the Coal Run/McIntyre and Iselin/West Lebanon fire departments were called in to assist. Details on the search effort have not been released.
Earlier in the day, Marion Center and Plumville Firefighters were dispatched for an automatic fire alarm activation along Route 119 in Rayne Township. And Plumville fire department was called out at 2:54 PM for utility lines down along Route 85 in South Mahoning Township.
