Police in Indiana Borough have arrested a Baltimore man after a road rage incident reported Monday.
Officers say 24-year-old Miles Mateo Eggleston-Baxter and an identified victim were involved in a near-collision on Klondyke Avenue that prompted the victim to yell from inside their vehicle. Eggleston-Baxter followed the victim for a short period of time before the two pulled into a business’ parking lot. He then stepped out holding a knife and advanced on the victim. Borough police officers were on the scene about three minutes after 911 was called and saw Eggleston-Baxter holding a folding knife and in a verbal confrontation with the victim. He complied and was taken into custody without further incident.
No injuries were reported. Eggleston-Baxter is charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, possession of marijuana and harassment, and was placed in Indiana County Jail to await an arraignment hearing.
